Step 1. Attach thread at the winging point (2/3), wrap to the bend of the hook. Tie 8 to 10 tailing fibers extending off the back 1-1/2 shank length.
Step 2. Tie in turkey biot at the bend of the hook (if desired build a tapered thread underbody.
Step 3. Wrap turkey biot forward to the winging point. Secure with several thread wraps.
Step 4. Advance thread to middle of area that is bare shank. Tie in wingers as shown.
Step 5. Attach hackle in front of and between wings.
Step 6. Wrap 1 wrap in front of wings and several behind wings, then advance thread in front of wings and fill in behind the eye. Trim excess and whip finish.
